1- Where is the location of IVSESS?
IVSES is a virtual symposium organized by Gazi University Distance Education Application and Research Center. Paper presentations will be made in the online sessions and participants will be able to participate in sessions with any mobile device with internet connection in their locations. The links required for the participants to enter the sessions will be announced in the symposium program before the symposium date.
2- Do audience have to pay a fee?
The participation of the audience will be free of charge. However, audience who want to get a participation certificate must pay a fee. Information about the fee is described in detail on the "Registration Fee" page.
3- Will the papers with full text be published in the Proceedings of the symposium?
Abstracts of the papers at symposium will be published as a booklet on the symposium web site. After the symposium, the papers will be published as full text in the Proceedings of The International Virtual Symposium of Innovations in Education and Social Sciences (IVSESS) until the end of September.
4- Does the symposium comply with the criteria of academic incentive?
IVSESS is an international symposium where invited speakers from at least 5 different countries will participate. Therefore, it meets the criteria of academic incentives.
5- Which platform will be used for virtual presentations in the symposium?
Perculus, a virtual classroom platform software, will be used for virtual presentations. The participants will be able to make presentations and listen to other presentations by joining the sessions with the link addresses to be shared on the presentation day.
6- Which hardware and software will be need for a virtual presentation?
Participants must have a mobile device (computer, tablet, etc.) with internet connection, webcam, headset and microphone . It is recommended that Google Chrome browser is used to log in to the sessions.
